Heavens and the earth

A 2017 independent study out of the UK found that children ask an average of 73 questions each day. Some of you immediately know your child is "above average". If you were asked to specify which question is the most popular one for your child, it would take you about two seconds to answer, "WHY". Children are curious, and when they don't understand something, they want to. It works the same way with God's children. When we don't understand something, particularly as it relates to tragedy, loss, heartbreak, or hardship, we often beg for our Father to help us understand WHY. But the Lord does not want us spending our time concerning ourselves with things that only He can comprehend and manage. Instead, our focus should be on WHAT it all means for us, and HOW the Lord would have us respond. This week at Friendship, we'll look at how God reveals Himself through the "Heavens and the Earth", and then we'll briefly dig into the old favorite Bible story of brother Noah to see how he understood God, how he focused on WHAT he was to do about it, and how he responded in obedience even when he didn't fully understand. Don't miss this chance to learn from one of the faithful to walk in obedience in your life!
