Changed Lives February 3, 2019

Feb 3, 2019    Pastor Logan Ames    "Souled Out"

Lately at Friendship, we've had some really great worship services and we've sensed a lot of excitement about Jesus and what he's doing in our lives. It's been great to see people passionate and wanting more of the Lord and the fellowship with his people. At the same time, it's always necessary to keep a bigger perspective on what God is doing in our lives and that means thinking beyond these spiritual "mountaintop experiences" we have each week. What is God urging us to do outside the walls of the church? Where is he wanting to send us? How is he inviting us to let go of safety and comfort to join him on the adventure of a lifetime by faith? Who in our lives or sphere of influence desperately needs to know the power of Jesus and his Holy Spirit to overcome an affliction or addition? This week at Friendship, we will continue with the SOULED OUT series and look at Acts 3 to see how lives are beginning to change because of the power of Christ. The apostles move from the comforts of their fellowship to getting out there and encountering the needy and desperate. It's time for us to do the same. We invite you to come and worship with us at any of the services, which are Saturday at 6 p.m. and Sunday at 9 & 10:45 a.m.
