"Miracle Power"

Aug 17, 2025    Associate Pastor Ben Sorbello

Jesus answered and said to him, "Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God." ~ John 3:3 NKJV

Are you still living for yourself or are you living for others, like your spouse, your children, grandchildren, or family and friends? When you awake in the morning, do you think about serving others, giving thanks to our Father for the breath in your lungs? Jesus told Nicodemus, a man who was trained and brought up in the ways of God, that he needed to change his way of thinking and living. He had to be born of both water and the Spirit in order to live the way God intended. If you have surrendered your life to following Jesus and accepted Him as your Lord and Savior, you have had your "road to Damascus" moment. Your life has been changed, and that change must be reflected in the way you are living and even how you see life. That is the "Miracle Power" of the Holy Spirit of God. Although the Bible is filled with God's signs and wonders, the biggest miracle was when Jesus took all the sins of the past, present, and future, and nailed them to the cross with Himself. If we choose to follow Him, He turns us sinners into saints.

This weekend we will be studying what took place in Acts 3 as we try to AMPLIFY what took place and how it applies to our lives today.
